The Winter Music Conference in Miami celebrates 30 years  and takes place from 24-28th of March. It's one of the most lovable conventions for djs, producers and music industry influential figures that come together in the relaxing environments of Miami to discuss, discover, license and party at the same time the hottest tracks that we will listen the whole year. WMC sets the scene of what is important in Electronic Music scene and has a huge impact. For that reason all the record labels will be there to showcase the best tunes and manage to attract the best reactions. Tiger...

Deniz Koyu’s debut on Protocol is upon us! His collab with Don Palm is nothing short of being a main stage festival anthem. Unleashing it’s power and melody break by break, this tune will certainly LIFT your spirits! Buy at beatport click here Dimitri Kechagias review: Nicky Romero never stops to rock with his magnificent high class record label. Every release on Protocol is just out of the ordinary and has something special that stands out. For instance the latest by Deniz Koyu and Don Palm has the title Lift and is impossible not to feel uplifted when you hear it in...

'You don't break up a winning team' is the clear & present production ethic of SHato & Paul Rockseek. Bare months after VANDIT's stunning 'Chasing Aeroplanes' release, and completing the hat trick that began with 'Losing Control', the Czech/Slovak pair reteams with English vocalist Alex Humphreys.  The collective's return to the studio has produced a track that's the rarest & most elusive of things: one that's as coolly laidback as it is supremely catchy.  Impressively touching, Alex's imagination capturing lyrics & gifted vocal touch work seamlessly with SHato & Paul's subtlety observed, 'quiet storm' of a production.  Supported atop the restrained syncopation of...

London based John Monkman made his Anjunadeep debut last summer with “Open Frontier”, a deep downtempo beauty featuring a stand out vocal from Liz Cass. Having fallen in love with the track, Martin Roth created an edit for his sets, to bring the languid original to the dancefloor. Upping the energy, the leftfield vocal sprawls above a dark, raw groove. Martin’s remix quickly found its way into the sets of many an Anjunadeep DJ, and has been a memorable moment at our recent label parties. Dimitri Kechagias review: Anjunadeep is one of the most forward thinking record labels nowadays and despite their...

The track’s mounted on a production chassis that grips club floors with ease, and down at the business end, has no trouble holding it’s peak-of-the-night own. Gravity rebelling riffs, luminescent drops, plucked string catchiness and all-round laser-lit appeal - its all present and correct on ‘Lunar’! Champed by DJ Mag of late, the electronic music bible hailed the track as “superbly arranged” and said it “sported a riff that first nags, then hooks and then finally sinks its teeth in!” Dimitri Kechagias review: The crowd always has certain expectations about trance music. Future Antics are here to please those expectations but also...

Falling somewhere between a honking blockbuster score and electro-tinged Andrew Bayer symphony, "Mandala" is the first label outing for US duo Bill Hamel and Chad Newbold, aka. Fatum. Bringing together Chad's love of contemporary dance music and Bill's Grammy nominated studio talents, "Mandala" is a bold debut; a volatile instrumental propelled along by its raw edged bassline. Jekyll and Hyde in composition, the brooding low-end betrays the euphoric peak time chorus, which builds to cascading waves of melody. A scintillating atmospheric anthem, it's no surprise that "Mandala" has become such a favourite in Above & Beyond's DJ sets since its debut at...

Though busy wrapping up their fourth full-length - due out early this year on d:vision - Dirty Vegas found some time to bust out a cover of Duran Duran's holy hit "Save a Prayer". The UK-based duo, comprised of Paul Harris and Steve Smith, blesses the classic '80s song with a scintillating, dancefloor-ready version. Steve wails about a casual encounter, while a stabbing chord progression flirts with the original synth-driven riff. The result is a succulent slice of four-four paradise. Dirty Vegas the British dance duo’s impeccable remake of the Duran Duran classic ‘Save A Prayer’ gets the remix treatment by...

Dancefair 2015 took place in Jaarbeurs,Utrecht from 21st to 22nd of February with considerable success. At the Drop Demos session organised by Armada Music & Cloud 9 I met Onno van Kemenade, A&R at Armada Trice and Joel de Vriend, A&R at Armada Captivating. I asked for an interview and I'm very glad they accepted the challenge. In this interview I asked them about the future releases of their labels. If they have found new tracks at the drop demo session so far. Why the think is important for an artist to be signed on a record label such as Armada...
