Satoshi Tomiie Interview
Satoshi's music career began at an early age when his parents encouraged him to study the piano. He trained for an admirable ten years, developing a distinct passion for Jazz. Soon after the sound of Hip Hop provoked him to start his foray into DJ'ing and production. Then came house as Satoshi became fascinated by the early Chicago mix-tapes he was hearing. Since his seminal hit "Tears" back in 1989, he has gone on to become a major part of the acclaimed Def Mix crew. Satoshi's debut solo album was 2000s massive Full Lick.

Johan Gielen doesn’t belong to that breed: Belgian Dutchman Johan Gielen singlehandedly put the A in the “Art of DJ-ing”, showing his worldwide audience that being a DJ is not only about seamlessly mixing one track into another, but that the Art of DJ-ing had to incorporate a certain amount of genuine showmanship. 2. Tell us more about Your new album, "Las Vegas '10" and when/where people can find it ?
Markus Schulz: The city, well Las Vegas is a place that I've been to a great deal over the last 18 months. I've been conscious for a while now just how much of a sizable part it has started to play on the US clubbing scene as a whole. The casinos have played a very smart hand indeed. They spotted 5 or 6 years back that for a place renowned - purpose-built even - for entertainment, that they was nothing tying them to slots and blackjack tables. They've evolved the city into a new US clubbing capital. The track-list, well that ties directly in. Every city responds in slightly different ways to different tracks.
